Emily Riedman

Emily Riedman's art work is based off of photographs she has taken on car rides through rural New Jersey, the beaches of Long Island and the bars of new York City. Emily's work call forth  memories and emotions for the viewer.

Her pieces evoke nostalgia for a place that the viewer may not have even visited.

Maghen Brown

Maghen was born and raised in Woodstock, NY. She attended Pratt institute in Brooklyn, graduating with a BFA in Illustration. Ms. Brown has done everything from graphics for clothing to wedding invitations. Her pieces are not drawn from photographs or memory, but are done on site. She sits with her pad of paper and pen and makes these drawings in one sitting. The above "Carousel" was drawn at Disney's Magic Kingdom park.

Maghen currently lives in downtown Manhattan with her husband and new baby girl.
